Buona domenica!

Facades of Prague.

Today I am just proposing a walk with our nose up through the streets of the fascinating Czech capital.  In particular to admire its splendid architecture.

In this last photo:  the Church of St. Nicholas of Malá Strana, built starting in 1673 and finished in 1752,  a true Baroque masterpiece.  Its single bell tower is 65 meters high and in communist times it is said to have been used to spy on foreign embassies,  given its position.

Happy Sunday!

  1. I’ve been once in Prague back in the 80’s. A beautiful town back then, but I believe the atmosphere in the city is different nowadays.

I was going to visit Prague in 2020, had bought the tickets and reserved the hotel. But then came covid 😦 No trip.
