Arrivati!

Ad aprile la maggior parte degli uccelli migratori sono arrivati.  Mancano solo gli ultimi,  quelli che si cibano di insetti:   essi aspettano che anche gli insetti rinascano dal lungo inverno trascorso sotto forma di uova.

Nelle mie foto di oggi:  gru e oche della tundra appena arrivate si rifocillano nei campi e nei corsi d’acqua.

Arrivals.

By April,  most migratory birds have arrived.  Only the last ones,  those that feed on insects,  are missing:  they wait for the insects to come alive after the long winter,  when they were eggs.

In my photos today:  newly arrived Cranes and Tundra geese are resting in the fields and streams.
