Infatti, dopo pochi minuti…
Horns.
I met this lovely Roe-deer (Capreolus capreolus) while I was biking along a sandy road to the centre of Somero last May.
He was just grazing in a field. It almost looks like he is posing for my objective…no way: he is just wondering whether I may be dangerous or not and accounting the best moment to escape. You need luck to catch sight of wild animals; whenever it happens one must be ready to seize the moment, because when they see you they will run away immediately.

I love deer, except when they come for dinner in my garden, lol. We’ve had herds come through before.
