In un azzurro pomeriggio finlandese di marzo, con un bel sole ma ancora parecchia neve da sciogliere sul territorio, durante una passeggiata sono stata attratta da questa veduta: un capannone di una fattoria con una striscia bianca, apparentemente di neve, sul davanti.
Ma quel certo biancore non era neve…
Ebbene si…quel certo biancore erano centinaia di Cigni appena arrivati dalla migrazione invernale.
A Certain White Stripe…
On a Finnish spring afternoon in March, with a beautiful sun but still a lot of snow to melt around us, during a walk I was attracted by this view: a shed with an apparently white stripe of snow on the front.
But that certain whiteness wasn’t snow…
Believe it or not, the white stripe was…hundreds of Swans just back from their winter migration. 🙂
