Noi che viviamo in mezzo ai boschi in Finlandia, abbiamo la possibilita’ di assaggiare frutti e bacche che la natura ci offre gratuitamente, in stagione; basta allungare le mani e raccoglierli. Sono anche frutti vitaminici e sani, come ad esempio i mirtilli, preziosi per la vista e la circolazione. Risto spesso si prepara il seguente snack: va nel bosco dietro casa a raccogliersi un mug di mirtilli, aggiunge yogurt, muesli e, volendo un tocco dolce, dell’uvetta.
Sicuramente una merenda cosi’ sana si puo’ fare con tutta la frutta del mondo! Questa e’ la versione di noi boscaioli finlandesi… Qui i frutti di bosco sono gratis grazie alla legge sulla Proprieta’ di Tutti (vedi post ).
A healthy snack. My husband Risto sometimes makes for himself a very good and healthy snack: he collects blueberries from the backyard forest, adds some yogurt, muesli and a final touch of raisins to give a sweeter taste. It is possible of course to prepare such healthy food with every kind of fruit on earth…this is what we do here in Finland, where we can find a lot of berries from the forest, in due season. We are lucky: the fruits are free, thanks to Everyman’s Right (see post), we must just stretch out our hands and collect them! Blueberries for instance are precious for blood circulation and eyesight…
