La tana della volpe.

IMG_3684IMG_3686IMG_3687Nel bosco di fronte a casa,  c’e’ una buca nel terreno che a noi e’ sembrata proprio una tana di qualche animale.  Attorno alla buca ci sono sempre numerose impronte,  proprio come se fosse abitata. 

Siccome mio marito anni fa li’ vicino aveva visto aggirarsi una volpe,  abbiamo posizionato per qualche giorno una fototrappola proprio di fronte alla buca.  Purtroppo non sappiamo se effettivamente fosse la sua tana,  ma una volpe che si aggirava c’era proprio…

The Fox’s Den.

In the forest opposite of our house,  there is a hole in the ground that looks very much like some animal’s den.  Around the hole there are always numerous footprints,  just as if it were inhabited. 

Since my husband had seen a fox wandering nearby years ago,  we placed a trail-cam right in front of the hole for a few days.  Unfortunately we do not know if it was actually his shelter,  but we captured a fox that was just prowling there…
