Sempre anticipata dalla bella vista della chiesetta di Teijo,  appena fuori Salo si apre la zona chiamata Mathildedal,  che avete visto durante la stagione invernale nel mio post:   https://traitaliaefinlandia.com/2023/02/01/mathildedal/

Nel post di oggi passiamo per Mathildedal a inizio maggio,  quindo proprio all’inizio della primavera,  che come ho gia’ detto,  e’ la stagione piu’ brulla e piatta,  qui nel nord del mondo.

Mathildedal tuttavia offre scorci molto pittoreschi e per chi ha voglia di camminare o girare in bicicletta per scoprirli,  ci sono percorsi segnati e piste ciclabili.  MATH (5)MATH (6)MATH (8)MATH (9)

Mathildedal e’ abitata per lo piu’ da proprietari di seconde case,  per cui la primavera e’ il momento in cui si approfitta per rigovernare,  ristrutturare,  ridipingere,  rassettare…in vista dell’estate.

C’e’ naturalmente chi ne approfitta per ridipingere la propria barca.MATH (7)

Mathildedal e’ anche un paesino,  cioe’ ha un centro,  ma i residenti fissi sono pochissimi:  solo 130,  e la maggior parte di loro sono i titolari delle attivita’ turistiche presenti in zona.

Il mare rappresenta la maggior attrazione durante l’estate,  mentre la natura,  il trekking,  il birdwatching… sono attivita’ che attirano i visitatori a Mathildedal durante le altre stagioni.

Per finire vi propongo una vista del porto turistico,  ancora semivuoto.  La caffetteria e’ pero’ sempre aperta,  anche per i turisti primaverili che vengono qui per le prime uscite della stagione.  I bassi edifici in legno che vedete nelle foto sono saune,  che si possono noleggiare per una fine giornata ritemprante.

Vi portero’ ancora a Mathildedal,  soprattutto in autunno,  quando i vibranti colori di stagione ne fanno una favolosa tavolozza.

Mathildedal in Spring.

In today’s post we drive through Mathildedal at the beginning of May,  therefore at the very beginning of spring,  which,  as I already said,  is the bleakest and flattest season,  here in the north of the world.

However Mathildedal offers very picturesque views and for those who want to walk or cycle around to discover them,  there are marked paths and cycle paths.

Mathildedal is mostly inhabited by owners of summer cottages,  so spring is the time they take the opportunity to clean up,  renovate,  redecorate,  tidy up… in view of the summer.

Naturally some take advantage of it to repaint their boats.

Mathildedal is also a small village,  that is:  it has a centre,  but there are very few permanent residents:  only 130,  and most of them are the owners of the local tourist activities.

The sea represents the main attraction during the summer,  while nature,  trekking,  bird watching… are  visitors’ attractions during the other seasons.

Finally,  I’ll offer you a view of the marina,  still half-empty.  However the cafeteria is always open,  even for spring tourists who come here for the first outings of the season.  The low wooden buildings you see in the photos are saunas,  which can be rented for a reinvigorating end of the day.

I will take you to Mathildedal again,  especially in autumn,  when the vibrant colors of the season transform the landscape into a fabulous palette.

  10. I love seeing the different regions of your beautiful country whether inland or near the sea. The countryside looks interesting. It must be a good time to visit when there are less visitors. I think the residents must be happy living there.

  13. che bello, ci hai portato nella bellezza del tuo Paese, per un attimo ho cercato di immedesimarmi in quei paesaggi e tutto mi è apparso diverso e meraviglioso allo stesso tempo, un viaggio mentale che mi ha portato lontano, nello splendore della tua terra..😉😊😉😊🤗👍👍👍👍
