Mi ha fatto molto sorridere osservare questa grassoccia femmina di Ciuffolotto seduta su di un debole rametto barcamenandosi per mantenere l’equilibrio e riuscire a becchettare i semi.  Ve la propongo:

Era un pomeriggio soleggiato e bellissimo di quasi primavera:  i prati attorno a casa si stavano risvegliando dopo lo scioglimento della poca neve,  i primi migratori stavano tornando e le cince più ardite cinguettavano furiosamente,  incalzate dal sentore di bella stagione.

Weighed down.     

It was fun to watch this chubby female Eurasian bullfinch sit on a small branch trying to keep its balance and grab all the seeds possible,  whereas the thin branch was wieghed down to the ground.

It was a lovely sunny day and I was walking down the lawns around my home in Finland as the last snow was melting,  the earliest migratory birds were arriving and the bravest tits were furiously tweeting,  urged by the upcoming spring.
