Hop! On a May afternoon I walked out to “hunt” something in the fields behind our house, but I captured just… the backside of a hare! (We live in a rural area with a lot of forest and fields).
In the Finnish countryside they grow primarily wheat, barley, oats and rye. Also turnip rape, rapeseed, sugar beet and flax are widespread. In the northern part of the country they can still grow rye, as it is very strong. Only one harvest per year is possible. In Finland a lot of types of bread are made with oats and flax is used as an alternative to cotton for textiles.
