Tra Italia e Finlandia

A Helsinki chi ama l’architettura trova cibo per la mente.  Gli stili vanno prevalentemente dal Neoclassico al Postmoderno.   Quello che mi colpisce di piu’ e’ comunque il tardo-Liberty che vira verso il Cubismo.  Mi affascinano i decori e i dettagli dei palazzi:  essenziali e rigorosi,  pur ammiccando alla leggerezza.

Helsinki is an open air architecture manual:  whoever likes this art will find here food for thought.  Being it quite a new city,  you will find from Neoclassical style to Post-modern.  Personally,  I am attracted by what the Finns call the Funkis style:  a mixture of Cubism and Liberty,  light and heavy,  floral and severe at the same time.
