Tra Italia e Finlandia

Oggi cari lettori vi propongo un excursus su vari tipi di trattori e macchine agricole viste ancora al museo Sarka di Loimaa.

Iniziamo con questo Fordson F del 1923.

Continuiamo con uno dei piu’ belli e antichi prodotti in Finlandia e precisamente a Turku nel 1919:  il Kullervo,  un perfezionamento di un modello russo.

Il Valmet 20,  una mietitrice prodotta in Finlandia dall’azienda Valmet nel 1953.

Questo trattore si chiama “Ideal” ed e’ stato prodotto dall’azienda di Nils Eriksson a Lielahti nel 1938.

Un David Brown Cropmaster del 1958.

Un modello Porsche:  un trattore che porta un serbatotio contenente spray pesticida.  Siamo negli anni ’60.

Un  Fordson N  degli anni ’40.  I trattori Fordson furono in quesgli anni i preferiti in Finlandia.

Quando alla fine della II guerra mondiale finalmente la siderurgia torno’ a produrre manufatti civili e non piu’ militari,  la finlandese Valmet lancio’ sul mercato questo “Pikku Jehu”,  cioe’:  Piccolo grosso insetto.  Era un modello leggero,  adatto a tutti i lavori.

Ancora un finlandese:  il Valmet 33 del 1958.

Tractors  #1.

Today,  dear readers,  I will propose a series of various types of tractors and agricultural machines still seen at the Sarka museum in Loimaa. 

Let’s start with this Fordson F from 1923.

We will continue with one of the most beautiful and oldest products in Finland,  precisely in Turku in 1919:  the Kullervo,  a refinement of a Russian model.

The Valmet 20,  a harvester manifactured in Finland by the Valmet company in 1953.

This tractor is called “Ideal” and was produced by Nils Eriksson’s company in Lielahti in 1938.

A David Brown “Cropmaster”,  1958.

A Porsche model:  a tractor carrying a tank containing pesticide spray.  From the 1960s.

A Fordson N from the 1940s.  Fordson tractors were the favourites in Finland in those years.

When at the end of World War II the steel industry finally returned to producing civilian and no longer military products,  the Finnish Valmet launched this “Pikku Jehu” on the market,  that is: Small Big Insect.  It was a less heavy model,  more suitable for many different tasks.

The final one is again Finnish:  Valmet 33,  from 1958.
