Tra Italia e Finlandia

Camminando col naso in su per le strade di Vilnius,  la bella capitale lituana,  ci si avvede dei chiari messaggi che il governo e la popolazione mandano all’autocrate che sta al Cremlino.

Quello scritto su questo grattacielo non lascia dubbi sulla collocazione della Lituania: “Putin, L’Aja ti aspetta”.

Davanti ai palazzi delle istituzioni (in alto quello Presidenziale),  dopo la bandiera lituana sventola sempre la bandiera ucraina,  assieme alla bandiera della UE.

Anche davanti all’ambasciata d’Irlanda sventola ostinatamente la bandiera ucraina.

Se non fosse abbastanza chiaro,  e’ scritto perfino sui frontalini dei bus.

Infine,  il messaggio piu’ forte e’ il seguente:  in una cella del Museo del KGB,  la ex prigione dei detenuti politici al tempo dell’URSS,  c’e’ un cartonato di Putin.

Messages.

Walking with your nose in the air through the streets of Vilnius,  the beautiful Lithuanian capital,  you notice the clear messages the government and the people are sending to the autocrat who lives in the Kremlin.

The writing on this skyscraper leaves no doubt about which side Lithuania is on: “Putin, The Hague is waiting for you”.

In front of the institutional buildings (the Presidential one above),  after the Lithuanian flag,  the Ukrainian flag always shows itself,  together with the EU flag.

Even in front of the Irish embassy,  ​​the Ukrainian flag stubbornly flies.

If that weren’t clear enough,  it’s even written on the front panels of buses.

Finally,  the strongest message:  in a cell in the KGB Museum,  the former prison for political prisoners during the USSR,  there’s a cardboard cutout of Putin.
