All’Albero verde #1.

Cari lettori, oggi torniamo a Glorenza.

Nel piccolo paesino di Glorenza, di cui vi ho gia’ parlato, ci sono solo un paio di hotel, un paio di Garni’ e qualche appartamento per i turisti. Oggi voglio condividere con voi uno degli hotel.

Si chiama: “Zum Gruener Baum”, cioe’: “All’Albero Verde”, si affaccia sulla piazzetta centrale ed e’ un edificio storico.

L’hotel risale al 1500 ed e’ sempre stato una locanda, cioe’ un luogo di accoglienza per i viaggiatori. Nonostante i restauri subiti nel corso degli anni, l’hotel mantiene l’impronta storica e la severa bellezza di sempre.

Vi propongo una serie di foto della piazzetta e dell’Albero Verde.

Nel seguente collage, vi propongo gli interni, dove la modernità portata dai restauri si fonde con la storia. Le camere sono arredate con soluzioni innovative, come gli armadi dove tutto è a scomparsa e lo spazio è sfruttato al meglio. Infine, gli ambienti in cui più si respira l’aspetto antico sono le sale da pranzo e da colazione, con arredi d’epoca. La parte che mi e’ piaciuta di piu’ e’ stata la scalinata in legno, con gli scalini che scricchiolavano ad ogni passo: mi ha ricordato com’era casa mia a Verona negli anni ’60.

Aggiungo solo che la cucina è all’altezza della migliore tradizione altoatesina.

Dear readers, today we will go back to Glorenza.

In the center of the small village of Glorenza, about which I have already told you, there are a couple of hotels for tourists, a couple of B&B and a few apartments for rent.

Today I will share with you images of one of those hotels. It is called: “Zum Gruener Baum”, that is: “To the Green Tree”, it overlooks the main square and is historic.

The hotel dates back to 1500 and has always been an inn, that is, a place of welcome for travelers. Despite the renovations it has undergone over the years, the hotel maintains its historical imprint and the austere beauty of always.

In the above photos I am sharing a series of views of the little square and the Green Tree Hotel.

In the following collage I am showing the interiors, where the modernity brought by the restorations merges with history. The rooms are furnished with innovative solutions, such as the wardrobes where everything is hidden and the space is used to the fullest. Finally, the rooms where the ancient aspect is most evident are the dining and breakfast rooms, with period furnishings. The part I liked the most was the wooden staircase, with the steps creaking at every step: it reminded me of what my Verona house was like in the 60s.
