Lungo la strada 110 che da Helsinki raggiunge Turku,  superato questo pittoresco ponte in pietra si apre l’arioso panorama del lago di Hiidenvesi.

Il lago e’ molto esteso,  con ramificazioni navigabili che collegano diverse localita’.  Oggi pero’ noi ci fermiamo a pranzare nel delizioso ristorante Hiidenpirtti,  affacciato sul lago.

Hiidenpirtti e’ rustico ma ben tenuto e,  specialmente in estate,  frequentatissimo dalla clientela lacustre,  cioe’ coloro che trascorrono il tempo libero nelle seconde case che affacciano sul lago.  Hiidenpirtti e’ ristorante ma anche caffetteria e grill,  cosi’ da poter servire anche clienti che si fermano per una sosta durante un viaggio o semplicemente che vogliono pranzare fuori.

La struttura e’ piuttosto grande e dotata di terrazza e veranda.  Il panorama e’ offerto dal lago.

Essendo il lago totalmente navigabile,  chi la possiede puo’ venire a pranzare a Hiidenpirtti direttamente in barca.

Along road 110 from Helsinki to Turku,  after crossing the picturesque stone bridge in the first shot,  the airy panorama of Lake Hiidenvesi opens up.

The lake is very large,  with navigable branches that connect different locations.  Today,  however,  we will just stop for lunch in the bespoke Hiidenpirtti restaurant,  overlooking the lake.

Hiidenpirtti is rustic but well kept and,  especially in summer,  very popular with lakeside customers,  that is the people who spend their free time in their holiday cottages scattered aruond the lake.  Hiidenpirtti is a restaurant but also a cafeteria and grill,  so that to also serve customers who stop for a break during a trip or simply want to dine out.

The place is quite large and has a terrace and veranda.  The view is offered by the lake.

Since the lake is totally navigable,  those who own a boat can come and have lunch in Hiidenpirtti directly by boat.

Finally,  an attractive ice-cream kiosk makes the description complete.
