Buona Pasquetta a tutti!

Oggi vi propongo un brano musicale di tutto riposo e godimento,  anche se il lunedi’ di Pasqua e’ di solito dedicato alle gite,  al movimento e al divertimento.

Si tratta del famoso Adagio in Sol minore attribuito al musicista veneziano Tomaso Albinoni,  che tutti conoscete per essere stato inserito in diverse colonne sonore.

 In realta’ la disputa sulla paternita’ di questa melodia stupenda e’ aperta:  sembra che chi lo ha portato al successo,  cioe’ il musicologo Remo Giazotto,  si sia solo ispirato ad una traccia lasciata da Albinoni ed abbia composto egli stesso il pezzo.

Comunque sia,  chi lo ha composto ha fatto un ottimo lavoro.

Today I will share with you some baroque music that is completely relaxing and enjoyable,  even though Easter Monday is usually dedicated to trips,  outings and fun.

It is about the famous Adagio in G minor attributed to Venetian musician Tomaso Albinoni,  which you all know for having been included in various soundtracks.

Actually,  the dispute over the paternity of this wonderful melody is open:  it seems that the person who brought it to success,  that is musicologist Remo Giazotto,  was only inspired by a track left by Albinoni and composed the piece himself.

Regardless of everything,  whoever composed it did a great job.
