Il punto di forza di Ruka in inverno,  come dicevo nel post precedente,  e’ il comprensorio sciistico attrezzatissimo:  vi si trovano centinaia di km di piste da fondo e da discesa,  molte delle quali illuminate.

Fra le altre attivita’ Ruka offre anche il noleggio motoslitte,  circuiti per ice-karting,  arrampicata,  fatbike sulla neve,  slitte e slittini…

L’estate e’ movimentatissima:  campi da golf,  ruscelli impetuosi per rafting o pesca,  visite organizzate a fattorie dove si allevano renne,  osservazione degli orsi da cabine isolate con apposita guida…

Insomma, a Ruka vi troveranno qualcosa da fare.  Non manca una Festa della Birra a meta’ luglio.

Ruka  (part 2)

The strongest point in Ruka in winter,  as I said in the previous post,  is the well-equipped ski area:  there are hundreds of km of cross-country and downhill slopes, many of which are illuminated. 

Among other activities Ruka also offers snowmobile rental,  ice-karting circuits,  climbing,  snow-fatbike, sledding …

Summer can be hectic:  golf courses,  rushing streams for rafting or fishing,  organized visits to reindeer farms,  bear watching from isolated cabins with a special guide …

In short,  in Ruka they will find something to do.  There is also a Beer Festival in mid-July.
