Nel nostro giardino ogni anno per fortuna trovano una casetta molti uccellini migratori che vengono a nidificare nel nord Europa. Oggi vi propongo una coppia di Balie nere (Ficedula hypoleuca). In finnico: Kirjosieppo.
In queste prime foto vedete la femmina, che si aggira per il giardino in cerca di cibo per i propri piccoli appena nati. Non e’ molto colorata e si mimetizza facilmente nell’ambiente circostante.
Questo invece e’ il maschio, anche lui presissimo dalla febbrile attivita’ di procacciare insetti per la prole. I suoi colori sono molto piu’ evidenti. Lo conoscete gia’: lo avete visto nel mio post Condominio per uccellini.
Attentive Parents.
Every year small migratory birds find refuge in our garden. They make a long trip to come to breed in the north of Europe and we host them in our wooden houses. Today I want to show you a couple of European pied flycatchers (Ficedula hypoleuca), in Finnish: Kirjosieppo.
They are a real couple, as they have already had their chicks and now are roaming round our garden to find food for them. In the first shots above you can admire the female, less colourful and easily mingling with the surrounding environment.
In the last shot you can see the male: more colourful and as engaged in the catching-insect activity. You already know him, you have seen him in a previous post in my blog: Condominio per uccellini.
