Novembre ad agosto.

DSCN2734

November in August.

In the course of the short northern summer,  sometimes the sky gets suddenly dark and an unexpected rain shower shocks the environment.  I feel shivers and think that it is autumn in advance.  On the other hand,  here in the deep north,  August is considered the starting of autumn.

Rain flows in tiny streams on my car glass as I drive;  the ripe grain fields are not golden any longer:  they are dark brown now.   Colours change in the sky as clouds quickly move:  blazing blue,  dull grey,  white in a thousand shades…

Practical advice:  as far as clothing is concerned,  we must be equipped and ready for any weather change,  here in the north.

  1. Hello,

The landscapes are beautiful, lovely views. We have had some much needed rain in our area. The mornings are cooler, best to have a light jacket on..Take care! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!
