A month in my photos:
Dear friends, September was so sweet and nice in Finland this year! It started off with still warm sunny days and a few rain showers which allowed a lot of good mushrooms to spring from the earth. The woodlands were literally dotted with every kind of colours! A true joy for those who like them. I collected a good quantity of porcino mushrooms and even dried some, hoping to preserve their aroma until winter. Now their season is coming to an end, whereas you can still find chanterelles… (I must admit I love the surprising moment of finding good mushrooms, even more than eating them!)
After the long hot summer, now autumn is knocking at our door: on Sep 29th we had the first frosty night of the season, in Somero!
In Italy September was still a summer month, with quite high temperatures, for the joy of our welcome tourists. Only at the end of this month the air became fresher.
As always, I’d like to thank all my followers, old and new: Have an enjoyable October!

Grazie, Lucinda! 😉 Ciao cara!
