Albino violets. The well-known garden violets, the first to bloom in Italian gardens in March, are usually violet-coloured but have an albino sister-type: they look exactly the same and are as perfumed, they are simply totally white. I discovered them in a friend’s garden.
I don’t think I’ve seen white garden violets before. Our wild self seeded ones are purple. Your photography of them is outstanding, so beautiful. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Thank you, Prunella. They are a rare hybrid, perhaps. A practical joke of Nature! I photographed them in Verona. Good garden day to you!
