Tra Italia e Finlandia

La mia fotogallery di banderuole è pressoche’ sterminata.  Ne ho riprese tantissime in Finlandia,  dove sono piuttosto popolari:  moltissime case di campagna le hanno.  Sono oggetti antichi,  legati ad un tempo in cui l’uomo viveva maggiormente in armonia con la Natura e doveva far fronte  ai capricci delle stagioni senza l’aiuto della tecnologia.

I soggetti sono i piu’ svariati:  dal classico galletto a personalizzazioni inimmaginabili.  In questo post solo mezzi di trasporto:  per primo l’aereo,  proprio per me  che viaggio cosi’ spesso… (fotografato non lontano da Somero).

Un pittoresco trenino a vapore con tanto di sbuffo…visto alla stazione di Loimaa.

Means of transportation. 

I have a large photogallery of weathercocks.  I like them and they are quite popular in Finland,  mostly on farmhouses.  These objects bring us back to an ancient time,  when man lived in harmony with Nature and had to follow seasons and weather changes without the help of technology. 

People put almost anything onto their roofs as  weathercocks,  not only cocks!  In this post a few means of transport that I have seen in different places in Finland:  the aeroplane,  which suits me best,  as I travel so often by it.  The picturesque steam-train with its steam huff,  shot in the old Loimaa station.  The boats were all shot near Salo.
