Domani e’ Ferragosto in Italia e cio’ significa il picco della stagione estiva. Desidero augurare a tutti una giornata serena, sia a coloro che se la godono in vacanza che a coloro che la lavoreranno (come ho fatto anch’io per tanti anni in aeroporto).
Il murale nella foto e’ celeberrimo e fotografatissimo: si trova nel centro di Reykjavík e rappresenta un Orso polare ed un Pulcinella di mare con l’Aurora boreale. Un murale decisamente freschissimo!

Tomorrow is Ferragosto (August 15th) in Italy, which means the peak of the summer season. It is public holiday. I’d like to wish everyone a peaceful day, both those enjoying their vacation and those who will be working (as I did for many years at the airport).
The mural in the photo is incredibly famous and much-photographed: it’s located in downtown Reykjavik and depicts a Polar bear and a Puffin with the Northern Lights. A truly refreshing mural!
