Hyvää Ystävänpäivää!

Oggi parliamo ancora di San Valentino, ma in chiave amicizia solamente. Il regalo musicale che ci facciamo, infatti, e’ questa magnifica canzone di Carole King del 1971: “You’ve Got a Friend”.

Non conoscevo questa canzone, ma ci sono inciampata dentro per caso: tanti anni fa ai tempi dell’universita’, nel grande magazzino la Rinascente a Milano ho comprato un diario e i versi di questa canzone erano sulla copertina: “Winter, spring, summer or fall / All you have to do is call / And I’ll be there, yes, I will”. Li ricordo molto bene perche’ mi sono piaciuti subito.

Today we are still talking about Valentine’s Day, but only in terms of friendship. The musical gift I have prepared, in fact, is this magnificent song by Carole King from 1971: “You’ve Got a Friend”.

I didn’t know this song, but I literally stumbled upon it by chance: many years ago during my university days, in the la Rinascente department store in Milan I bought a diary and the lyrics of this song were written on the cover: “Winter, spring, summer or fall / All you have to do is call / And I’ll be there, yes, I will”. I remember very well because I liked them immediately.
