Sciare sul lago.

Quasi ogni inverno e’ possibile sciare sul grande lago di Hirsjärvi,  nel centro di Somero.  Basta che il freddo faccia il suo dovere:  lo ghiacci a sufficienza;  poi deve nevicarci sopra ed infine i volontari del locale sci-club devono avere il tempo di battere la pista.  Dopodiche’ il divertimento e’ assucurato!

E’ sempre suggestivo sciare o camminare sul lago ghiacciato.  Non credo di dire alcunche’ di nuovo perche’ anche sui laghetti alpini si scia,  pattina o quant’altro.

Skiing on the Lake.

Almost every winter it is possible to ski on the large lake of Hirsjärvi,  in the center of Somero.  It is essential that winter works well:  it must freeze it sufficiently;  then it must snow on it and finally the volunteers of the local ski club must have time to beat the slope.  After that,  the fun is guaranteed!

It is always suggestive to ski or walk on the frozen lake.  I don’t think I’m saying anything new because even on alpine lakes you can ski,  skate or whatever.

The holiday cottages along the shore are waiting for the good season,  with their landing platforms covered in snow.
