Nel post di oggi vi propongo alcuni scatti ripresi durante il percorso dal centro di Helsinki all’entrata dell’autostrada che porta verso Somero nel tardo pomeriggio di un giorno d’autunno.  Come vedete,  tutto l’abitato è immerso nella natura e gli alberi circondano ogni costruzione umana.

Essendo così importante e così cara la natura ai finlandesi,  anche i quotidiani e le riviste vi dedicano ampio spazio:  si parla spesso di fenomeni,  di circostanze,  di terra,  di animali,  di meteorologia sempre rapportati al benessere dell’ambiente.

Il titolo del giornale significa: “Ecco il foliage”.

E’ anche per risvegliare le persone troppo dedite ad altre attività e a quelle che la natura manco la vedono!

Going Home.

In today’s post I will share some shots taken during the journey from the center of Helsinki to the entrance to the motorway that leads to Somero in the late afternoon of an autumn day.  As you can see,  nature is everywhere and trees surround every human construction.

Since nature is so important and so dear to the Finns,  even newspapers and magazines dedicate pages and pages to it:  they often talk about phenomena,  circumstances,  earth,  animals,  meteorology,  related to the well-being of the environment.

The title of the newspaper means: “Here is the foliage”.

It is also meant to awaken people who are too dedicated to other activities and who don’t even see nature!

  10. How wonderful it is to read that your newspapers also focus extensively on nature and its importance. That is hardly discussed here. I often have the impression that people here also sell the most stupid and unimportant things as news to fill their newspaper…. Maybe we can recruit some editors in Finland to give our newspapers more useful content 😉
