Caro nome (part 3)

Buona domenica a tutti!

Oggi,  cari lettori,  vi propongo ancora un brano legato all’idea del “Caro nome” della persona amata,  come nei due post domenicali precedenti.

Si tratta di un romantico brano della cantautrice Elisa,  dotata non solo di notevole voce ma anche di un buon talento nella composizione dei testi (benchè questo non sia suo).

Il pezzo si intitola: “Se piovesse il tuo nome”.

Oggi tuttavia non vi proporrò il testo intero,  ma solo il passaggio che mi ha colpito:

“Se in mezzo alle strade O nella confusione Piovesse il tuo nome Io una lettera per volta vorrei bere In mezzo a mille persone Stazione dopo stazione…”

Dear readers,  today I will share again something linked to the idea of the “Dear name” of our loved one,  as in my two previous Sunday posts.

It is a romantic song by Italian singer and songwriter Elisa,  who is gifted not only with a remarkable voice but also with a good talent in composing lyrics (although this is not hers).

The title is: “If it rained your name”.

Today,  however,  I will not offer you the entire text,  but only the passage that struck me:

“In the middle of the streets

Or in the confusion

I would like to drink it letter by letter
