No,  non è sbagliato il titolo del post:  a tale data risalgono le foto che vi propongo oggi.  Sono state trasformate in files digitali da originali cartacei,  naturalmente.  Le ho scattate sull’Alpe di Siusi,  sopra Ortisei,  nelle Dolomiti,  in provincia di Bolzano.  Mi piace particolarmente l’effetto che il sole calante crea sul Sassolungo e Sassopiatto nella foto sopra:  il colore di un tramonto d’autunno.

(Non ho ritoccato i colori nelle foto:  era proprio un bel tramonto!)

It was the time when I took these two photos,  of course with a film camera.  So no mistake in the post title!  The place is the Siusi Plateau “Alpe di Siusi”,  in the province of Bolzano,  in the Italian Dolomites,  just above the town of Ortisei.  The two peaks in the background are called:  Sassolungo and Sassopiatto (Langkofel,  Plattkofel).  I am particularly fond of the first shot above:  the setting sun coloured the landscape reddish in a very characteristic autumn hue. 

(These photos are not digitally edited:  it was just a lovely sunset).

  15. The Dolomieten came to mind when i saw the shapes of these mountaintops. I only didn’t realize that they extended from Spain into Italy (or visa versa:)) They have a distinctive beauty! Thanks you for sharing them with All Seasons!

  22. Thanks for the walk down memory lane – when we all used film and we had to wait for the developing to know if we had a good picture! I love mountains, and this is a place I would like to visit someday!
