Tra Italia e Finlandia

Al ristorante Factory,  a Salo,  abbiamo gustato piatti assolutamente mostruosi,  in occasione di Halloween.  Ad esempio questa “Minestra della Strega”.  (In relta’ una normalissima vellutata di spinaci con un uovo leggermente colorato).

Per dessert abbiamo preso questa mostruosa mousse al cioccolato e nocciola abitata da fantasmini e omini neri che in realta’ erano biscotti e marshmallows decorati e rifiniti.  Complimenti alla fantasia dei cuochi!

“Monstruous” Dishes.

At the Factory restaurant,  in Salo,  we enjoyed some absolutely monstrous dishes for Halloween.  For example,  this “Witch’s Soup.” (Actually,  it’s just a plain spinach soup with a lightly colored egg.)

As dessert,  we had this monstrous chocolate and hazelnut mousse inhabited by little ghosts and small men in black who were actually decorated and refined cookies and marshmallows.

Kudos to the chefs’ imagination!
