Tra Italia e Finlandia

Ancora un post dei miei dedicato agli aerei e agli aeroporti.  Questo e’ per dare conto dei cento anni della compafnia di bandiera tedesca Lufthansa.

L’aereo con la livrea celebrativa che ho fotografato e’ un Boeing 787,  un long-range wide body che puo’ trasportare fino a 300 passeggeri.  Ha un’apertura alare di 63 metri e vola ad una velocita’ di crociera di 950 km/h.

Il simbolo di Lufthansa e’ la Gru,  un uccello migratore che percorre i cieli d’Europa puntualmente due volte l’anno.

Lufthansa fu fondata nel 1926 a Colonia.  In questo momento il main hub di Lufthansa e’ l’aeroporto di Francoforte.  Nella flotta Lufthansa trovano posto oltre 700 aeromobili,  grazie alle collaborazioni con compagnie aeree consorelle come l’italiana Air Dolomiti,  che fanno parte del Lufthansa Group.   Annualmente il gruppo trasporta oltre 100 milioni di passeggeri.

Another post of mine dedicated to airplanes and airports.  This one celebrates the centenary of the German national airline Lufthansa.

The aircraft with the commemorative livery in my shots is a Boeing 787,  a long-range widebody that can carry up to 300 passengers.  It has a wingspan of 63 meters and a cruising speed of 950 km/h.

Lufthansa’s symbol is the crane,  a migratory bird that flies across Europe twice a year.

Lufthansa was founded in 1926 in Cologne.  Currently,  Lufthansa’s main hub is Frankfurt Airport.  The Lufthansa fleet includes over 700 aircraft,  thanks to partnerships with sister airlines such as the Italian Air Dolomiti,  which are part of the Lufthansa Group.  The group carries over 100 million passengers every year.
