Buona Festa della Mamma!
Per festeggiare questa ricorrenza cosi’ struggente, vi propongo il dolce Lied di Franz Schubert, composto nel 1823, su versi del poeta Friedrich Rückert.
Il titolo e’ proprio “Du bist die Ruh” e significa: “Tu sei pace”.
Mi piace dedicarla alla mia mamma, che era pace e nobilta’ d’animo. Purtroppo mi ha lasciata nel 2023.

To celebrate this poignant anniversary, I propose to you the sweet Lied by Franz Schubert, composed in 1823, with verses by the poet Friedrich Rückert.
The title is precisely “Du bist die Ruh” and means: “You are Peace”.
I would like to dedicate it to my mother, who was peace and nobility of spirit. Unfortunately he left me in 2023.
