Mimose.

A marzo le mimose sono in fiore in Italia e oggi ve ne propongo alcuni scatti.

La Mimosa (Acacia dealbata) è un è un albero o arbusto sempreverde appartenente alla famiglia delle Fabaceae che ama essere piantato in posizione soleggiata. Famosa per i suoi fiori gialli, che sbocciano a partire da febbraio e per tutta la primavera, la Mimosa offre un punto luce incredibile in giardino.

I fiori della Mimosa sono piccoli e dall’aspetto tenerissimo: sono infatti palline soffici al tatto ma numerosissime. Il loro profumo è delicato.

Ho fatto queste foto gironzolando per le vie di Verona in questi giorni, sorprendendo molti giardini rallegrati da questa spettacolare pianta.

In March, the mimosas are in bloom in Italy and today I am sharing some shots of them.

The Mimosa (Acacia dealbata) is an evergreen tree or shrub belonging to the Fabaceae family that loves to be planted in a sunny position. Famous for its yellow flowers, which bloom from February throughout the spring, the Mimosa provides an incredible highlight in any garden.

The Mimosa flowers are numerous soft little balls. Their scent is delicate.

I took these photos wandering through the streets of Verona these days: I found many gardens were brightened by this spectacular plant.
