Passaggi notturni.

Buongiorno lettori!

Oggi vi propongo dei collages dove ho sintetizzato i passaggi che alcuni animali selvaggi effettuano nei dintorni di casa nostra durante le notti invernali.  Tutte le foto provengono dalla mia fototrappola.

Il primo qui sopra e’ il tasso,  che va in letargo,  ma il suo e’ un sonno leggero e talvolta si sveglia ed esce dalla tana in cerca di qualcosa da rosicchiare…

Qui sopra invece vedete un topino dei boschi,  che in finnico si chiama:  Metsähiiri  (Apodemus flavicollis)  e che costituisce una buona preda per l’animale del prossimo collage:  la volpe.

Che bell’animale la volpe!  Anche lei si muove preferibilmente di notte.

Infine una protagonista che solo ultimamente si fa viva nei pressi di casa nostra:  la lince.  Lei cerca prede di taglia piu’ grossa,  in primis lepri e conigli ma e’ ben capace di catturare volpi,  cerbiatti e tutti gli altri che avete visto nei collage precedenti.

Night Collages.

Good morning readers!

Today I will propose you some collages where I have summarized the passing-by that some wild animals carry out in the surroundings of our house during the winter nights.  All the photos come from my trail-cam.

The first one above is the Badger,  which does hibernate,  but its sleep is light and sometimes it wakes up and comes out of the den in search of something to gnaw…

In the second collage you see a Yellow-necked wood mouse,  which in Finnish is called: Metsähiiri (Apodemus flavicollis) and which represents a good prey for the animal in the next collage:  the Fox.

The Red fox is an enchanting beautiful animal.  It preferably moves in the darkness too.

Finally,  a protagonist who has only recently made her appearance near our house:  the Lynx.  It seeks larger preys,  primarily Hares and Rabbits,  but is also quite capable of capturing Foxes,  Deer and all the other critters you have seen in the previous collages.

  14. Perhaps my trail-cam shots are not too clear, but this is quite a tall animal, with long legs. Its tail is instead very short and different from a cat’s tail.
    I have a lot of shots of the Lynx, I will publish them little by little.
