Con molta intelligenza,  l’aeroporto di Monaco di Baviera sfrutta l’esteso piazzale che si trova tra i Terminal 1 e 2 per varie manifestazioni in molti momenti dell’anno.   Tra le occasioni a me piu’ gradite c’e’ ovviamente il Mercatino di Natale.

Ogni anno per tutto dicembre il piazzale che divide i due Terminal e che di solito e’ percorso dai passeggeri in transito,  viene decorato con numerosi abeti,  luci e installazioni,  viene letteralmente riempito di bancarelle,  allietato da musiche a tema e offre non solo ai passeggeri ma anche ai residenti l’occasione di assaporare l’atmosfera natalizia senza recarsi in centro citta’.

I passeggeri che,  come noi spesso,  hanno una coincidenza lunga,  possono uscire dalla sala transiti,  visitare il mercatino,  gustare le specialita’ gastronomiche offerte,  comprare qualche piccolo regalo.  Il rientro nella sala d’imbarco avviene attraverso il controllo di sicurezza,  naturalmente.

Va detto che il piazzale fra i due Terminal e’ comunque allestito tutto l’anno con birrerie,  negozi,  caffe’…

Non manca nulla al mercatino dell’aeroporto di Monaco:  certamente non una coppa di Glühwein e nemmeno la pista di pattinaggio.  Nemmeno il presepe puo’ mancare.

Man mano che scende la sera il piazzale si anima con musica dal vivo.

Finalmente dopo aver comprato un pensiero,  anche i passeggeri con coincidenza lunga possono rientrare e prendere il loro secondo volo verso casa!

Anche quest’anno 2024 il mercatino si terra’ regolarmente:  dal 17 novembre al 31 dicembre.

Christmas in Connection…

Munich Airport uses the large forecourt between Terminals 1 and 2 for various events at many times of the year.  I find this a very intelligent solution.  Among the occasions that I like the most is obviously the Christmas Market.

Every year throughout December,  the forecourt that divides Terminals 1 and 2,  (which is usually used by transit passengers),  is decorated with numerous fir trees,  lights and installations and is literally filled with stalls,  enlivened by themed music.  It offers not only passengers but also residents the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere without going to the city center.

Passengers who,  like us often,  have a long connection,  can leave the transit hall,  visit the market,  taste the gastronomic specialties on offer,  buy a few small gifts.  The return to the boarding hall takes place through the security check,  of course.

It must be said that the square between the two terminals is set up all year round with beer gardens,  shops,  cafes…

Nothing is missing from the Munich airport Christmas market:  certainly not a glass of Glühwein and not even an ice rink.  A beautiful crib cannot be missing.

 As the evening falls,  the square comes alive with live music.

After buying a little present,  finally even passengers with long connections can return and take their second flight home!

This year 2024 this market will be held from November 17th to December 31st.

  22. Molto curiosa questa cosa, utile e interessante per chi si trova a viaggiare da quelle parti. Anche le soste di attesa sono meno pesanti e passano più in fretta. Sicuramente un esempio da imitare 😉😉👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊🤗🤗🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
