Adatta per una sosta in qualsiasi stagione,  la caffetteria Ruukin Sydän a Eura,  e precisamente nell’antico distretto siderurgico di Kauttua,  e’ pittoresca,  tradizionale e anche moderna.

Offre un piacevole intervallo al turista che si aggira tra i vecchi impianti dismessi e legge e impara la storia di questo distretto importantissimo per l’economia finlandese di oltre trecento anni fa.

Di Kauttua e della sua storia parleremo piu’ avanti,  per oggi godiamo le vedute della caffetteria,  cuore del distretto;  Ruukin Sydän infatti significa:  il cuore del distretto.

Ruukin Sydän.

The Ruukin Sydän café in Eura,  in the old Kauttua ironworks district,  is quaint,  traditional and also modern and above all,  suitable for a stop in any season.  It offers a pleasant break for the tourist who wanders among the old disused plants and reads and learns about the history of this district that was so important to the Finnish economy over three hundred years ago.

We will talk about Kauttua and its history later,  but for today let’s enjoy the views from the café,  the heart of the district;  Ruukin Sydän in fact means:  the heart of the ironworks area.
