La Cinciarella (Cyanistes caeruleus),  che vedete in questa foto alimentarsi alle nostre mangiatoie a novembre,  in primavera quando si accoppia diventa attivissima e premurosissima verso i piccoli.  Come del resto fa fare la Natura a tutti i volatili,  con poche eccezioni.

Nelle foto seguenti infatti condivido con voi l’andirivieni che fa una coppia di Cinciarelle per portare cibo nel nido,  costruito dentro un fienile abbandonato.

La cosa piu’ divertente,  e’ stata osservare quanto stretta sia la fessura nella quale si introduce per entrare nel fienile…  Mi ha ricordato cio’ che talvolta fanno i gatti,  passando da pertugi strettissimi.

Nel video seguente,  appositamente rallentato,  sara’ piu’ facile apprezzare questa cosa:

Caring Parents.

The Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus),  which you see in the first photo feeding at our feeders in November,  becomes very active in spring when it mates and very attentive towards its young ones.  As Nature makes all birds do,  with few exceptions.

In the following photos I am sharing the comings and goings of a couple of Blue Tits to bring food to the nest,  built inside an abandoned barn.

The funniest thing was observing how narrow the gap is through which they enter the barn… It reminded me of what cats sometimes do,  passing through very narrow openings.

In the final video,  specially slowed down,  it will be easier to appreciate this aspect.
