La piantina che vedete nel mio post di oggi,  cari lettori,  si chiama Tradescantia ed è presente nei cinque continenti in numerose varietà e colori. 

Questa varietà nasce spontanea estate dopo estate nel mio giardino veronese e va tenuta sotto controllo perchè essendo resistentissima e molto forte diventa infestante se si propaga a suo piacimento.  Fortunatamente i fiorellini sono carini,  di un bel blu acceso e le foglie sono di un verde vivace.

Il nome italiano di questa piantina è:  Erba miseria,  proprio a sottolineare che resiste a qualsiasi condizione climatica.

The plant you see in my post today,  dear readers,  is called Tradescantia and you can find it almost everywhere in the five continents in numerous varieties and colors.

This variety grows spontaneously summer after summer in my garden in Verona and must be kept under control because,  being very resistant and very strong,  it easily takes over the garden.  Luckily its little flowers are cute,  nice bright blue,  and the leaves are vibrant green.

English language speakers call this plant by different names:  Inchplant,  Wandering jew,  Spiderwort…
