Un ultimo riferimento a Suomi 100,  il centesimo anniversario dell’indipendenza della Finlandia,  festeggiato nel 2017.  Fra i vari luoghi di interesse illuminati di luci bianche e blu,  i colori della bandiera,  anche il nuovo ponte pedonale di Turku sul fiume Aura lo e’ stato.  Le foto sono state scattate in un pomeriggio di pioggia…purtroppo non neve:  il bianco avrebbe illuminato il paesaggio e contribuito a creare una ben diversa atmosfera.

Oggi si festeggia il 106 anniversario dell’indipendenza,   quindi lasciatemi augurare a tutti i finlandesi:  Onnea Suomi!

The Bridge is lit up.     

A reminder of Finland’s celebrations for independence held in 2017:  among the points of interest that have been lit up in white and blue (the colours of the national flag)  in the occasion of Suomi 100,  I witnessed that also the new pedestrians’ bridge in Turku was.  My photos were taken on a rainy day,  unfortunately…not with white beautiful snow:  that would have added a special charm to the atmosphere.

Today we celebrate the 106th anniversary of Finland’s  independence,  so let me wish Finland:  Onnea Suomi!
