Gironzolando per le stanze della caffetteria Matildan Kartano, oggetto del mio post precedente, ho visto queste piante stranissime che vi propongo oggi e delle quali non so assolutamente i nomi. Davvero particolari.
All’esterno della struttura invece ho visto questo bel gattone:
C’era anche una Averla maggiore, che mi e’ quasi sfuggita…

Plants and Critters of Matilda.
Wandering around the rooms of the Matildan Kartano cafeteria, subject of my previous post, I saw these very strange plants that I am showing you today and whose names I absolutely don’t know. Really special.
In the courtyard I saw the chubby cat above.
The Great grey shrike, perched on the branch, nearly escaped…
Finally, there was a small flock of Cedar Waxwings: I was able to photograph just one.

If you really want to know the plant names, there are Android applications which you can use for identification. I use “Picture this”, don’t know whether it’s the best, it’s good enough for me.

I have seen the cactus in the first two photos growing in my aunt’s garden. I think it’s called “Dragon Bone” in Chinese and it’s supposed to bring good luck!
