Tra Italia e Finlandia

A primavera,  quando la neve inizia a sciogliersi ed il freddo ad allentare la presa,  i cervi escono dalle foreste dove si erano rintanati durante l’inverno.  Ora e’ piu’ agevole camminare nei campi ed e’ anche piu’ facile trovare cibo. 

Durante l’inverno stanno in gruppo,  i cervi,  per fare fronte meglio alle avversita’ del clima e agli attacchi dei predatori:  per questo motivo e’ facile incontrarne parecchi tutti insieme in questa stagione.

Questo gruppetto ha improvvisato un balletto davanti a noi,  prima di fuggirsene al sicuro.

Deer in Springtime.

In spring,  when the snow begins to melt and the cold loosens its grip,  the deer come out of the forests where they took refuge during the winter. 

It is now easier to walk in the fields and it is also easier to find food.  During the winter they stay in groups to better cope with the adversity of the climate and the attacks of predators:  for this reason it is easy to meet several of them all together in spring. 

This little group improvised a ballet in front of us,  before escaping towards a safer place.  Please watch the short video too.
