Facciamo un giro per la Finlandia a dare un’occhiata alle luci e agli addobbi più comuni che si usano qui per le feste?

Come vedete,  sono piuttosto semplici e le luci sono sempre ferme.  L’intermittenza qui non è molto usata:  così sono più riposanti.

Taluni accendono le luci natalizie già a metà novembre,  chamandole “Luci di stagione”:  Kausivalot,  per dire che con esse si sconfigge il buio invernale.DSCN0493DSCN0556DSCN0494DSCN0502DSCN0600vici (1)

As you can see,  they are quite simple and the lights are always still.  Intermittency is not used much here:  too restless.

Some people turn on the Christmas lights as early as mid-November,  calling them “Seasonal lights”:  Kausivalot,  to mean that with them the winter darkness is defeated.

  10. There were times when many people in our country also installed Christmas decorations and lights on their windows, facades and front gardens. Unfortunately, this has fallen more and more into disuse. Perhaps partly from a financial point of view, perhaps because there was too much destruction by vandals or out of fear that it would provoke conflict with other religions… who knows.

  24. Sehr schön und gemütlich.
    Hier in der Stadt ist es manchmal sehr “laut”
    Ein Nachbar hat sehr bunte Lichter, sehr viele, und sie blinken unentwegt *lol*
    Ich sehe sie Gott sei Dank nur beim späten Gassi mit Buddylein.
