Cari lettori,  oggi un’informazione che vi puo’ rassicurare se decidete di mettervi in viaggio in Finlandia con mezzi propri.  Sappiate che nonostante le autostrade siano gratuite e non ci siano gli Autogrill come li pensiamo noi in Italia,  ci sono moltissimi posti di ristoro lungo le strade dove si puo’ sostare per sgranchire le gambe oppure per trovare cibo e bevande o altre necessita’.

Oltre alle ovvie stazioni di servizio,  incontrerete moltissime caffetterie,  grill,  chioschi,  ristoranti,  piccoli centri commerciali… che vi saranno utili.  Nelle mie foto qualche esempio:

Spesso queste aree di sosta sono provviste di un angolo “INFO” con materiale informativo oppure vendono prodotti locali,  che magari non si trovano dappertutto nel Paese.

Per finire,  talvolta queste aree di ristoro possono essere dei gradevoli chioschi in riva ad un lago… e chiaramente sono sempre segnalati.

Rest Stops.

Dear readers,  today something that can reassure you if you decide to travel to Finland by your own means.  Be aware that although the motorways are free of charge and there are no “Road-houses” the way that you are accustomed in your own country,  there are plenty of refreshment points along the roads where you can stop to stretch your legs or to find food and drink or other necessities.

In addition to the obvious gas stations,  you will come across many cafes,  grills,  kiosks,  restaurants,  small shopping centers… which will be useful to you.  Some examples in my photos.

Often these rest areas are equipped with an “INFO” corner with information brochures or even sell local products,  which may not be found everywhere in the country.

Finally,  sometimes these rest stops can be pleasant kiosks by a lake… and they are always clearly signposted.

So…enjoy your trip through Finland! 🙂
