Cari lettori,  oggi vi propongo una serie di foto aeree delle Alpi,  la catena montuosa che segna il confine naturale dell’Italia verso nord.  Le Alpi Europee hanno inizio in Italia,  nella regione Liguria,  precisamente dal Colle di Cadibona,  si estendono per circa 1200 km e terminano addirittura in Ungheria,  passando per Francia,  Svizzera,  Germania,  Austria,  Slovenia,  con una propaggine nel piccolo Liechtenstein.  Le Alpi includono le montagne più alte d’Europa:  oltre 20 cime superano i 4000 metri e culminano con il Monte Bianco che ne misura 4810.

E chi sbuca fra le nuvole sul sentiero aereo di discesa verso Verona?  Ma certo,  è lui:  il monte noto come  NASO di Napoleone.

Hello dear readers!  Today I would like to share with you a few shots of the Alps,  the imposing mountain range that determines the natural northern border of Italy.  What we call European Alps originate in the Italian western region Liguria,  namely at Colle di Cadibona,  stretch about 1200 km and end in Hungary.  Alps cross several countries:  France,  Switzerland,  Austria,  Germany and Slovenia,  with an incursion in Liechtenstein.   In the Alps we find the highest summits in Europe:  more than 20 have an elevation above 4000 metres;  with its 4810 metres Mont Blanc is the most outstanding peak.

  3. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
    Faccio anch’io decine di foto aeree, e quel lago l’avrò fotografato almeno 3-4 volte. Non ricordo al momento il nome, ma a casa me lo sono scritto (ora non sono a casa).
    Riguardo le Alpi, ho certamente foto alpine, alcune molto belle, ma non so minimamente riconoscere dove mi trovavo ed il nome del monte sottostante.
    Bello tutto.

    PS Pensa che una delle mie passioni, legate alle foto aeree, è quella – una volta a casa – di dare il nome a ciò che ho fotografato: laghi, fiumi, città, promontori, strade (se nitide), etc. Lo trovo bellissimo.

  19. I have flown over these mountains a few times but never thought to capture photos, these are very good!
    Sorry to lose you as a blog follower but that’s life, keep well and I never got to see your images of Apatura iris.

  28. Apatura iris is on my mind, but I have tons of subjects and photos to share… Since what happened with this butterfly is so surprising, I was planning to publish it later on, when I have a larger audience who can enjoy. By the way…are you a follower of mine?
