Fiori di Karkkila.

Buongiorno lettori! Oggi vi propongo uno scorcio d’autunno.

Su suggerimento della mia vicina, signora S., durante uno dei nostri giri ci siamo fermati a Karkkila, ridente cittadina del sud Finlandia non lontano da Somero, per godere di questa piccola gioia: due o tre campi interamente ricoperti di fiori di vari tipi, ancora in ottime condizioni nonostante fossimo in ottobre inoltrato.

I fiori erano stati seminati e coltivati proprio per la cittadinanza e chiunque poteva andare e raccoglierne, se voleva, ma per lo piu’ ci si limitava al fotografarli. Infatti…non sembrano un dipinto impressionista?

Flowers in Karkkila.

Hello dear readers! Today I’ll share with you an Autumn memory.

Upon my neighbour Mrs S.’s suggestion, we stopped in Karkkila to enjoy this beautiful spectacle: two or three fields were entirely occupied by lots and lots of different flowers only!

Karkkila is a nice small town in south Finland, not far from Somero. The flowers were in good conditions even though we were already in mid-October. They had been sown and cultivated just for the people to enjoy; it was allowed to pick them and carry them home, but most people just wondered and took photos.

As a matter of fact, they really looked like an impressionist painting. Don’t you think so?
