Bellezze in mostra. (part 1)

Ad inizio novembre,  mi sono tolta la curiosita’ di andare ad un concorso di bellezza…felina!  In centro a Verona,  infatti,  si e’ tenuta la rassegna:  “I gatti piu’ belli del mondo”,  in cui venivano esposti,  giudicati e premiati un centinaio di felini.

Naturalmente ho scattato qualche foto di cotante bellezze…ad esempio questo sopra:  un gran bel Blu di Russia.

Dalla russia alla Norvegia,  questo gattone dalle proporzioni piuttosto grandi e’ il famoso Norvegese delle Foreste.  Naturalmente i gatti stavano per lo piu’ nelle loro gabbiette.

Queste bellezze maculate invece sono Gatti del Bengala.

Ed ecco qui sotto un’altra carrellata in attesa di essere valutati:  per lo piu’ erano docili e tranquilli,  abituati alla gente,  alle luci…

Per me vedere i 4 giudici al lavoro e’ stata un’esperienza nuova e molto piacevole…anche perche’ i gatti mi piacciono e ne ho sempre avuti in famiglia.

Beauties on Contest.    

Last November for the first time I went to an international  beauty contest for…cats!  It was held in Verona centre,  in The Gran Guardia Palace.  The title of the contest was:  “The World’s most beautiful Cats”.  There were roughly one hundred cats and 4 judges on duty and of course I took a few shots.  Cats stayed mostly in their cages and were quite calm. 

The first one above is a beautiful Russian Blue.

The second,  rather big cat,  is a Norwegian Forest Cat.

The two sleeping ones are Bengal Cats;  their spotted coat is stunning.

In the slideshow:  more beauties waiting to be judged.  It was a pleasant morning for me,  as I am fond of these critters and I have always had one in my family.

  2. Cats are cute ❤ I have seen a film about two American ladies frecuently taking their beautiful cats to exhibitions / contests. A lot of work & driving was needed!

  21. Anche io come te adoro i gatti, lì dentro sarei impazzita! Anche se sinceramente preferisco vederli scorrazzare in un prato o in dormiveglia sul divano, nelle gabbiette mi fanno un po’ di tristezza…
