Settembre e’ il mese in cui si trovano le maggiori varieta’ di funghi nei boschi della Finlandia.  Ok,  questi nelle foto sono velenosi,  ma cio’ non toglie che siano anche belli da vedere…

Sapevate che tutti gli animali del bosco sono ghiotti di funghi?  Dagli scoiattoli,  ai cervi,  alle alci,  persino gli orsi.  Ebbene,  quando andiamo a funghi noi umani… abbiamo molta concorrenza!

A proposito di frutti del bosco,  la curiosita’ che vi racconto oggi e’ la seguente:  la Finlandia ha proposto che una legge vigente qui e denominata “La proprieta’ di tutti”,  venga inserita nel Patrimonio Universale UNESCO come bene immateriale.  Potete leggere di che cosa si tratta cliccando  QUI.

Underneath the Trees.       

September is the king month for mushrooms in Finland:  in this moment you can find the largest variety possible.  Of course the ones in the above photos are poisonous…but they are so beautiful to see!

Did you know that all forest animals are fond of mushrooms?  Squirrels,  deer,  elks,  even bears like them.  They are all our competitors…

Today’s curiosity:  upon Finland’s suggestion,  the law called “Everyman’s Right” may become part of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.  You can read about it clicking HERE.

  13. I wonder if Nature made these mushrooms poisonous so that we can enjoy their beauty. That’s humane of Finland to allow people to gather natural growing food on public and private land. I cannot imagine that happening in our country.
