Estate al duty-free.

Durante i miei frequenti spostamenti tra Italia e Finlandia,  mi capita di passare qualche momento ai duty-free degli aeroporti.  Oggi vi propongo l’allestimento estivo che ho visto a Francoforte,  fatto per mettere a loro agio i passeggeri in transito:  l’idea di ricreare l’atmosfera di un party-by-the-pool e’ divertente e non manca nulla…nemmeno il fenicottero rosa!

C’era infine una specie di ruota della fortuna e naturalmente ci ho provato anch’io!  Guardate che cosa ho vinto:  due cioccolatini al limoncello (ehm…uno e’ gia’ sparito…).

Summer at the duty-free.      

I often move between Italy and Finland and I often have the possibility to linger a few moments in airports duty-free shops.  Today I’d like to share with you the summery setting I found in Frankfurt:  the intention was to create a party-by-the-pool atmosphere…even the pink flamingo was there!

In the last photos:  I made an attempt at the pool wheel-of-fortune and  I won two pralines filled with limoncello cream (oops…one is already missing…!)

  8. I’d say the airport did a super job creating that pool party atmosphere …. I have been in Amsterdam, Oslo and London Heathrow in the last few weeks – and all the airports are doing their best to sell their wares! Very festive shots. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

  41. Even if I don’t buy anything in those shops, it’s fun to have a look around. And as you have proven, that can sometimes be rewarded too! (I won a set of headphones in one of the Singapore airport duty free shops, but I di have to answer some quiz questions correctly 🙂
