Tra Italia e Finlandia

Un mese nelle mie foto:

Luglio in Finlandia e’ cominciato col botto:  dopo la siccita’ e il caldo di maggio e giugno…quasi una settimana di pioggia e 15 gradi!  Eh si’…qui bisogna essere sempre pronti ad un cambiamento repentino del tempo e delle temperature.  Ma non abbiamo nemmeno fatto in tempo ad accorgercene che il caldo e’ tornato.  Anzi:  super caldo.  A meta’ mese a Turku e’ stato battuto il record di 32,8 gradi C.  Se pensate che a Febbraio eravamo molto vicini ai -30C,  ne viene un’escursione termica di 60 gradi!  Questo andamento del tempo e’ stato piacevole per le persone,  che hanno trascorso giorni stupendi al sole,  ma molto meno per la natura e i raccolti.  Anche i boschi ne hanno sofferto,  non solo:  si sono verificati estesi incendi,  in particolare in Svezia,  tali da richiedere l’impiego di aerei Canadair per lo spegnimento,  un paio provenienti anche dall’Italia.  In questi casi,  oltre al cordoglio per le vittime umane,  ci si impietosisce anche per i poveri animali!

In Italia Luglio e’ stato abbastanza caldo,  ma non opprimente come l’estate scorsa e soprattutto ci ha portato anche qualche pioggia rinfrescante.  Purtroppo in estate i fenomeni meteo possono essere talvolta violenti:  trombe d’aria e bombe d’acqua come quelle che si sono abbattute nel mantovano. 

Ringrazio come sempre chi si sofferma sulle mie pagine e dò un caloroso benvenuto ai nuovi followers.  Agli amici bloggers assicuro che non manchero’ di ricambiare le loro visite!

A month in my photos:

July brought some rain,  in the beginning,  after the obstinate dry weather of May and June,  in Finland.  Temperatures dropped to 15 C.  On the other hand,  you must always be ready for weather change here in the north.  Soon after that,  a new long period of sunny and clear days started over.  People were happy,  but not so much nature and crops.  In the hottest moment in July there were some big forest fires,  in Sweden in particular,  which required the use of Canadair jets to be extinguished (a couple of them arrived from Italy).  In these circumstances not only humans are suffering or dying,  but also many animals!  The highest temperature of the year so far has been recorded in Turku in mid-month:  32.8 C.  If you compare this with February,  when it was very close to -30 C,  you will recognize a range of 60 degrees!

In Italy the weather was hot,  but not so oppressive as last year:  afternoon temperatures were around 30 C.  Every once in a while we had some rain to refresh the environment.  Unfortunately some weather phenomena were violent:  heavy rainfalls,  hail and a twister damaged the crops in the surroundings of Mantua.
