Un mese nelle mie foto:
Giugno e’ stato controverso sia in Italia che in Finlandia. Al nord abbiamo avuto problemi di siccita’, infatti il bel tempo e’ continuato imperterrito dai primi di maggio! Finalmente verso il 21 giugno e’ arrivata un po’ di pioggia (almeno a Somero). Erano due o tre estati che non dovevamo irrigare orti e giardini per mancanza di piogge. Quest’anno perfino il raccolto sara’ compromesso: il frumento e i vari cereali seminati sono nati a chiazze.
In Italia e’ stato moderatamente caldo e non e’ andato affatto male, con qualche pioggia che ha evitato l’afa soffocante.
Come sempre do’ il benvenuto ai nuovi followers e ringrazio chi mi segue con interesse!
A month in my photos:
This June has been incredible in Finland: after the beauty of May, the sunny days, the lovely temperatures, we had a month of drought: the lack of rain persisted and caused the corn to sprout in patches in the fields and our gardens to suffer and get yellowish. It was a situation that we had not seen in these two or three past years. Rain arrived only at midsummer, since the starting of May (at least in Somero).
In Italy we had some rain too, but it was only good – so we avoided too hot weather and drought.
