Un mese nelle mie foto:

Gennaio e’ il mese piu’ duro e lungo dell’anno,  secondo me,  antipatico quanto Novembre!  E come se non bastasse,  ha pure 31 giorni.

 I Finlandesi chiamano le tre settimane di Gennaio dopo l’Epifania:  härkäviikot,  cioe’:  le settimane dei buoi al giogo;  quel che significa e’ di palese comprensione:  adesso c’e’ solo da tirare la carretta!

I hate January,  as well as November,  for their being long and boring.  Moreover,  January has even 31 days! 

In the Finnish culture,  the three remaining weeks of January after the Epiphany celebration,  on 6th,  are called:  härkäviikot,  that is:  yoked oxen weeks;  the meaning of this expression is clear…now you just have to work!
