A Turku accanto al duomo a inizio dicembre, visto sotto la pioggia.
A Turku; sul cornicione di alcuni edifici famosi.
A Garda, fra le bancarelle di: “Natale tra gli ulivi”.
A Verona, nella centralissima Piazza delle erbe.
Davanti all’aeroporto Catullo, qualche inverno fa.
In Finlandia si allestisce da sempre l’albero di Natale, ma il presepe non fa parte della tradizione; mentre in Italia di solito addobbiamo entrambi. E voi che cosa preferite?

In Verona, in the very old part of town; this is Piazza delle erbe.

In Finland we like to have the Christmas tree, but the crib is not part of the Finnish tradition; whereas in Italy we usually keep both. Which one do you prefer?

Come sono belli questi alberi di natale!
Se dovessi scegliere, preferirei l’albero, infatti una nostra tradizione da sempre, ma da quando ho comprato (all’Anttila!) il mio presepe in stile naïf, è diventato una parte importante del mio natale.

Your post made me realize how much the Christmas tree is a part of European and Western tradition and culture. How old is the tower you showed All Seasons? Have they built in different periods on it, because it looks like the top part is of a later period?
Thoroughly enjoyed your post – can see you like Christmas trees! My own thought about the baby cradle of Jesus looks better in a whole nativity scene. Have a very merry Christmas to you and the ones you will celebrate it with! And “see” you back on New Years Eve!
